We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary. Great food and great service. We would love to come back.

It was a wonderful evening again. Very cozy for us. The brawn was once again delicious and, as always, very nice service.

Were invited for coffee there. We liked it. There was also a good selection of cakes.

Uncomfortable, nice staff and delicious food. We like to come back every time. You can always recommend it.

If it comes down to how many stars I should give I would have to give less than 0 stars. I'm surprised by all the good reviews. The waitress with the glasses is totally rude. We got snappy answers to any question. Change your job when you're tired of it. The food is a bad joke. Nothing made by myself. And the quality was a disaster. The dumplings from the package and not at all, canned mushrooms without flavor, and the roast venison ready out of the bag. And all of this sloppily arranged on the table. I ordered the roast venison for 17.00 euros and got a canteen meal that was just abnormal. Presumably the cook is alone and therefore has to use ready-made products. But then please other prices. The only thing that tasted good was the garnish. The location of the restaurant is ideal and the architecture is nice and rustic. Maybe a bit stuffy. It's a shame what the operator does with the store. I was a restaurateur myself and I have to admit that this restaurant will be the last thing I will ever visit again in my life, let alone recommend it. I advise everyone: find a better alternative. Otherwise you will be disappointed and spend an unsatisfied evening with your loved ones.

Wonderful find! The menu and the food were great and the service very friendly. The ambience is absolutely great: on a late summer evening under the open sky without (!) Umbrellas with a view of the forest and fountain pond.

We were in Markleeberg for a short vacation for 3 days and tried different restaurants. The Spreewaldschänke was the best restaurant. The food was delicious, the price was great. The Spreewaldschänke is located in the middle of the forest. It's super cozy. - no matter whether you sit inside or outside. The staff is super friendly. We would love to come back.

A beautiful beer garden in the park with a view of a pond and fountain. Friendly and fast staff. The food was very tasty 👌

The service was nice, but it all took a long time. Others who came much later got their food earlier. Otherwise really nice place in the middle of the forest with a small pond.

No star, not to be recommended at all, 2 adults, one child, were rudely promoted outside this evening. That was a cheek .... There were a lot of places available .... very unprofessional. We are currently spending a few days with our grandchild in Markkleeberg ... Never again ... Could only be with one star post, poor

Was very nice after a long time. Nice staff as always and a meal of the finest and put on the table in a very short time, although we had been asked for patience. It is advisable to make a reservation based on the hygienic regulations. All in all great and we keep it up. 👍👍👍

Sitting calmly in the middle of the green at the pond with water fountain. See water roses, hear frogs and watch the rare dragonflies ... if that's not nature!

You can relax in the patio and enjoy your coffee and cake. The dishes are good and the price / performance ratio is great. The service is friendly and quick. Have been there several times and had no bad experiences.

There were five of us in the beer garden, which is beautiful. It is also quaint and beautiful inside. The food was consistently good, but our service lady either had a very bad day or another problem. You don't roll your eyes because a guest wants another card at the table. You don't drive to guests - especially not more than once. There is clearly room for improvement.

Went for lunch today with 11 people. Large selection, it was great and served hot. No long waiting times. Restaurant was well attended. The waiter was very friendly, nice, quick and thoughtful. Keep it up 👍

In a quiet green location .... rustic decorated .... nice staff ..... A well-balanced food and beverage offer (only the coffee does not deserve the name too thin and hardly taste) ..... The food was good ..... Lots of space outside and inside ....

Nice comfortable place. Nice setting. Food is good but would not recommend to come here if you are vegetarian as they have NO vegetarian food. They were nice enough to throw a vegetarian meal together which was okay and well meant but if you want great vegetarian food. This is not the place to be. For everyone who likes meat, the place seems very good.
